Pepper came to Europe with the Portuguese seafarers in the 15th century and has spread fairly rapidly throughout the world. In Slovenia, it is produced primarily for fresh use. Panvita also added its own share to the upward trend of production with its integrated production of peppers. Given the positive reaction of customers and production experience of previous years, we will use about 2 ha for pepper this year. Since this annual vegetable loves heat, we will protect it with high tunnels.
We decided to produce dark green pepper of the bell peppers type that inspires our customers with its mild flavour and firm white flesh as well as white bell pepper, which is already a classic type in Slovenia.
We tend to pick peppers in technological ripeness, when it is also physiologically ripe and when most varieties turn red and get a sweet taste.
Known especially for a high vitamin C content, since half a pepper is already adequate to meet all-day requirement of our organism for this vitamin and the successful fight against colds. We would need as much as two oranges for the same effect.
High in the concentration of beta carotene, a potent antioxidant, and potassium and magnesium, which stimulate the digestive organs and blood circulation.
RECOMMENDATION BEFORE CONSUMPTION
